Appliance leaks can be slow and hidden, or sudden and dramatic. Either way, fast cleanup helps.
- Shut off the supply valve to the appliance
- Unplug the appliance if it is safe to do so
- Pull the appliance away from the wall if possible
- Photograph any damaged flooring, cabinets, or walls
- Request inspection and cleanup
